Other findings of the survey include that 60% percent of employers report that their organization requires receipts for all business travel expenses, regardless of size. Approximately 64% of respondents provide company credit cards to employees who travel frequently.

Although only a quarter of companies responding provided a dollar amount for their 2010 and 2011 relocation budgets, these companies report a 5-6% increase in relocation dollars budgeted for this year.

The Business Travel and Relocation Benefits survey, which garnered 144 responses, was conducted by BLR's HR Daily Advisor in December, 2010 through mid-January, 2011. This response level is lower than that usually achieved by BLR’s benefits surveys, possibly due to the holiday and year-end timeframe.
