What is the number of the regulation that states an employee on FMLA can NOT work another job?

What needs to be posted in our interviewing area (employment center)?

Where can I find any information on the Law/Bill that was created to allow employees to take time off for attending school functions or conferences?

How is FMLA administered for organizations that are subsidiaries of a parent coporation if some subsidiaries have less than 50 employees? Are all subsidiaries subject to FMLA? Is this different for nonprofits who may be part of a controlled group?

My question is: The 12 month service/1250 hours, is that a guideline or must the employee meet this criteria before being put on FMLA?

Our handbook states differently then the Federal or State of Ohio requirements. Are we required to offer FMLA to associates who meet our company handbook requirements but not the Federal or State requirements for eligibility?

Can an employer, after certifying the associate for FMLA, retroactively apply time already missed by the associate and count it toward the 12 weeks/year granted under FMLA?

We have an employee who requests a Family Medical Leave Absence for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. We have her doctor fill in a Doctor's Certification, but can we ask and pay for a second opinion?

An employee has excessive absenteeism. However, the employee provides doctors' excuses from numerous physicians for various medical problems. Can the company investigate and converse with her doctor to determine if the leave is legitimate?

We've taken an employee through all the progressive steps of discipline to final warning. At this point would the company be on solid ground to terminate the employee even if a medical excuse is presented?
