Do you have survey results for paid holidays?

Most of our exempt employees work Mon-Fri. Our paid holidays are set at the beginning of the year around this schedule. We have an employee starting a Wed-Sun schedule. Must this employee be entitled to the same # of holiays as everyone else?

When an exempt employee works a holiday and our policy states that employees are paid the holiday and time and a half when they work a holiday, should we pay the exempt employee according to our policy?

If an employee's normal work week is a 10-hour day, 4-day work week, and he is being paid for a holiday on which he would have normally worked 10 hours, is his holiday pay 10 hours (his normal shift), or 8 hours?

What are the overtime regulations related to holiday work under the federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)?

Are we required to pay Holiday pay to an employee that has been on suspension? Our manual states that if they work any amount of hours in the pay period in which the holiday falls, they get paid for it.

What is Massachusett law on Holidays when worked in the restaurant business?

What exceptions does FLSA make in terms of paying employees shift differential + base for their holiday pay? This is regarding a Florida employee?

I am looking for typical wording in a policy on Holidays, for employees who do not celebrate the Christmas Holidays to be able to work those holidays and substitute Kwanza holidays?

is martin luthur king a holiday?
