Is a commisioned employee eligible for unemployment benefits? How are they determined? 



If an employee is terminated within their 90 days probationary period for excessive absenteeism, can they collect unemployment benefits? 



If an employee is terminated due to insubordination (refusing to perform an assigned task), does that disqualify them from collecting unemployment? 



How long does a person have to be unemployed before becoming eligible for unemployment benefits - or does one ever become eligible seeing that he resigned? 



An employee refuses to accept that she has been terminated. How do I handle this without making her angrier? And a related question - what are the NC laws regarding unemployment and severance under these circumstances? 



Why do some employers disagree with an ex-employee getting unemployment compensation? How does it effect the employer? 



What is the law in California in regards to overtime? My understanding is that if an employer asks an employee to work overtime and the employee refuses, this is grounds for termination. 



When someone voluntary resigns or terminates employment and they live/work in NJ, NY or CT, are there any requirements for the employer to notify them about Unemployment Insurance and how to apply?
