My organization has a bona fide leave plan (Paid Time Off). I remember reading where it is legal to deduct time from a leave bank for a partial day off even for an exempt employee as long as their gross pay remains whole. Can you verify this for me? 



We have an exempt employee who seems to be abusing the system because he will take sick days in half days. He also has used sick time before it accrued (he has negative 24 hours). What can we do in this case? 



If an exempt employee has 10 sick days for the year and he goes over his limit, can an employer dock that employee's paycheck? 



What are the laws regarding the use of paid or unpaid leave under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)?
