A Note to Readers

Your wellness efforts to get employees to quit smoking got a recent boost—from the federal government. A new excise tax on tobacco went into effect April 1, which added approximately $1.01 to the cost of a pack of cigarettes (an increase from 39¢ per pack.) We wanted to know if, even before this tax went into effect, if the number of smokers has decreased in recent years at your organization. Let us know in this week's poll.
