Pricing Unique and High-Demand Jobs

As a compensation professional, your experience has (hopefully) been that when it comes to job pricing, it is very likely that you can find pricing information for the job you're evaluating, in your area, at any given time, using a salary survey from BLR or some other source.

But what do you do when you need to price a unique job, and nothing comparable is listed on salary surveys?
