Business and Legal Reports (BLR) was recognized with three awards in the Newsletter on Newsletters 2007 Awards Competition.

The awards, now in their 34th year, recognize the best edited, designed, and marketed newsletters and newsletter websites.

The HR Challenge, a weekly quiz testing HR professionals' knowledge of the laws and regulations covering the workplace, received a Gold Award. More than 15,000 people have subscribed to the HR Challenge since it was redesigned and re-launched in September 2006. Subscribers can track their scores and compete against other HR professionals for prizes.

HR.BLR.com was honored with a Gold Award for the second consecutive year. The site has been serving HR professionals with compliance and training materials since 1999. The site was redesigned in early 2007 to include new navigation and a host of new features, including a Job Descriptions Manager and the HR Forum.

Safety.BLR.com was recognized with a Silver Award. Safety.BLR.com subscribers have access to hundreds of resources on workplace safety training, compliance, and best practices. The site continues to expand, with new tools and resources added every day. In late 2006, BLR added audio training presentations to the site. These plug and play professional quality audio presentations walk trainees through each part of the training presentation.

The three awards come close on the heels of the four Awards for Publication Excellence (APEX) that BLR received for excellence in graphic design, editorial content, and the ability to achieve overall communications excellence. You can read more about those awards here.
