The department’s investigation found that “pay-per-load” employees were working more than 40 hours in a workweek without premium pay. An expanded investigation found systemic overtime violations affecting CEMEX employees in Arizona, California, Georgia, New Mexico, North Carolina, South Carolina and Texas.
